Network Architect, Group IT

The team you will be part of
The IT Security & Network team consists of 12 diverse, experienced, and supportive specialists, who all collaborate with many different strategic stakeholders in GN inclusive of other IT teams. All are looking forward to welcoming you to the team.

As our new Network Architect, you are based at our global HQ located in Ballerup, Denmark, and report directly to the Head of Core Network, Søren Mikkelsen.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will have a broad range of responsibility in a dynamic work environment with a lot of exciting projects in pipeline ready for you to be involved in.

Your tasks will be within the following areas in collaboration with great colleagues:

• Design and implementation of GN’s new network infrastructure with focus on high availability, security, and easy maintenance
• Participate in design and implementation of our network security strategy, incl. zero trust and next-gen firewall technologies
• Participate in relevant IT projects in collaboration with peer architects
• Design and implement IT Network security technologies in a global environment
• Level 3 support for network on both old and new infrastructure (Aruba, Cisco, HPE, Checkpoint)

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you are structured, good at planning your work, can keep a high-level overview of our tasks, while having an eye for details. You consider yourself as a team-player, who enjoys working with others as well as working independently and taking initiative, when needed.

In addition, we image that you have:

• Knowledge of Cisco based LAN/WIFI (incl. Catalyst Center, ISE)
• Knowledge of ZTNA and FW technologies
• Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with other IT teams and stakeholders
• An analytical and methodical approach to your work
• Fluent in written and spoken English
