Digital Sales Manager

Do you like working with data for commercial purposes? Are you motivated by growing sales and taking market shares? And do you want to be part of an ambitious market leading e-commerce business? Then have a look!

Whiteaway Group has grown from a start-up to a successful retailer, selling and shipping household appliances to customers in all of Scandinavia. It all started as an idea, a clear customer focus, and a digital mindset. This is still who we are – we’re change-makers at heart.

As Digital Sales Manager, you’ll join our B2C team and play a key role in our quest to reach new heights. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute strategies to drive revenue and enhance the customer experience - while, of course, securing a healthy business.

The job is all about:

  • Optimising online sales and increasing the performance on certain KPI’s on our sites,
  • Monitoring and improving our customers’ online experience, ensuring a smooth and intuitive online shopping journey,
  • Collaborating across functions to set the right direction for success through the right product offering at the right prices,
  • Analysing market trends, customer behaviour, performance data, etc. to identify growth opportunities and outline strategies for improvement,
  • Tracking and reporting on all the important online sales drivers and taking the necessary actions to reach our budget,
  • Aligning the direction for our sites with the company’s long-term strategy and coming up with new and creative ideas to attract and convert customers.

We’d like to think that you:

  • Can demonstrate relevant experience (it doesn’t matter if it’s from a different industry) and a track record of improving online sales and customer experience,
  • Are excited about analysing sales figures and conversion development and using these insights to plan actions for improvement,
  • Have outstanding communication and organisation skills, enabling you to bring your ideas to life together with a broad range of colleagues and departments, including our sales, purchase, and tech teams (to name a few),
  • Are eager to collaborate closely with the marketing team and other internal stakeholders to come up with ideas for activities and campaigns,
  • Have a commercial mindset while being result-oriented, analytical, and structured in your work,
  • Are motivated by a combination of strategic work and operational tasks.

We like to think we have quite an amazing workplace, including:

  • A dynamic and international environment with room for you to be you,
  • Lots of opportunities to develop professionally and to influence your own work life,
  • A flat, informal organisation with short decision-making processes,
  • Great colleagues in an environment where we care about each other and what we do,
  • Attractive settings, such as flexible work hours, health care, lunch scheme, Friday breakfast, gym, and an active staff association.

Whiteaway Group is an ambitious and successful E-commerce and retail business in rapid growth. Through a number of online shops and the franchise chains Skousen and Tretti we sell white goods and premium products for the home – to customers in all of Scandinavia. The idea for Whiteaway Group arose in the backroom of a Danish kitchen store. The foundation was innovation, business acumen and excellent customer experience. And it still is. Many years later we are the leading supplier in Scandinavia in our field and we are almost 300 dedicated employees working from offices in Aarhus and Stockholm.
