ITIL Process Manager – Capacity, Availability and Configuration

In our pursuit of operational efficiency, we are seeking a proficient and motivated professional to join our team as the Availability, Capacity, and Configuration Manager.

As the Availability, Capacity, and Configuration Manager, you will be a key player in reinstating and enhancing our IT processes. Your role will involve revitalizing and implementing strategies to ensure the availability and capacity of IT services while maintaining accurate configuration information.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify gaps in existing processes and develop plans for reinstatement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
  • Conduct training sessions to ensure adherence to reinstated processes
  • Build and maintain Capacity & Availability Plan
  • Create and present Capacity & Availability Reports & Dashboards on IT Infrastructure aspects and provide trend analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall service availability
  • Collaborate with Process Managers for integrated service delivery
  • Ensure that all activities within availability, configuration, and capacity management align with agreed-upon service levels
  • Guarantee adherence to ISO27001 and ISO9001 standards for process compliance
  • Collaborate with business units to understand upcoming projects and their potential impact on capacity requirements, aligning IT services with business needs
  • Maintain documentation

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities with the ability to communicate optimally and influence at all levels of the organization
  • ITIL certified
  • Expertise in developing comprehensive capacity and availability plans
  • Demonstrated proficiency in capacity and availability monitoring
  • Strong problem diagnosis skills to enhance IT service availability
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills
