Engineering Graduate for electrical infrastructure within wind power

In your first rotation, you'll be part of the Protection Team which is responsible for planning, designing and purchasing electrical equipment for onshore and offshore substations for wind farms. You'll join our team of skilled specialists working with the protection of the transmission system in our substations.

Your key tasks will be to

    • develop a protection settings standard template
    • perform current and voltage transformer calculation to go into high voltage equipment specifications
    • assist time domain investigation
    • participate in IEC61850 process bus investigation
    • participate in FAT testing.

Your competences include that you

Your second rotation will be in the SCS SCADA team. Here, you'll get the opportunity to understand the challenges of building a substation from another perspective and familiarise yourself with a related part of the transmission system scope. Finally, the intention is for you to spend time on site during your third rotation to test what you and other SCS and protection engineers designed and purchased.

  • graduate before 1 September 2018 with a master's degree in electrical engineering or similar and have delivered excellent results
  • speak and write English fluently, enabling you to communicate efficiently
  • have worked with protection of transmission systems during your studies
  • are interested in working with electrical infrastructures for wind farms
  • have personal drive combined with both an analytical and responsible approach to your work
  • are capable of handling several tasks simultaneously and thrive in a changeable environment.

Additional information
You'll be based in Gentofte. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. The intention is for you to spend your third rotation at one of our wind farm sites.
