About the department
Early Clinical Pharmacology is an area in Research and Early Development. As an integrated part of Global Translation, we are scientifically and operationally responsible for designing, planning and execution of early Clinical Pharmacology studies in new and exciting therapeutic areas across Novo Nordisk portfolio.

The department consists of engaged and highly skilled colleagues working in a flexible, and cross-functional setting. The position
As Principal Clinical Pharmacology Specialist, you will be working in close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders in preparation of First Human Dose (FHD) and other early development trials across Novo Nordisk growing portfolio and you may have to interact with Health Authorities.

You will be responsible for the early clinical pharmacology strategy, the design of FHD and, early clinical pharmacology trials. Be scientifically responsible for trial protocols, investigator contact, and trial result interpretation and reporting.

You will drive and coordinate activities in the trial team, provide scientific input and collaborate with our affiliates and external partners involved in managing our clinical trials.

In exchange, you have an excellent opportunity to increase your competencies within early drug development while contributing to build fit-for-purpose processes and procedures and be part of the Global Project Teams.

Qualifications
You hold a PhD. degree in Life Sciences combined with experience in drug development and knowledge within Clinical Pharmacology.

• Strong scientific mindset combined with experience in planning and conducting clinical trials
• Experience in managing cross-functional global teams in a dynamic environment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high performing colleagues
• Proficient in spoken and written English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
