The Electrochemist for Radiometer is responsible for developing and sustaining of electrochemical sensors for our blood gas platforms.

This position is part of the Electrochemistry, Optics, and Mechanics team located in Brønshøj, Copenhagen and will be hybrid position. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

You will be a part of the Electrochemical and Optical Sensors team and report to the Director responsible for the quality, sustainment, and development of Radiometers electrochemical and optical sensors. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work with tasks related to the quality and delivery of electrochemical sensors including quality improvements and obsolescence projects.
  • Identify and implement quality improvements on the electrochemical sensors.
  • Develop new electrochemical sensors.
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled and experienced sensor team.
  • Engage with teams across R&D and Operations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Master of science in chemical engineering, cand. scient. chemistry, PhD or similar.
  • Knowledge within physical chemistry and electrochemistry.
  • Experience in working with electrochemical problems.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Sensor systems involving electrochemical sensors.
  • Data analysis.
  • Polymer chemistry.
