As a Purchasing Graduate, you will join one of our product categories and work close to the business from day one. The programme is designed to prepare you for a future role as Category Manager within JYSK.

The programme is tailored to your role in Purchasing, giving you a clear path towards a permanent position and future leadership opportunities.

Based at our Head Office in Aarhus, you will gain hands-on experience in a dedicated and experienced Purchasing department, where your ideas, performance and growth ambitions are truly valued.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
As a Purchasing Graduate, you will be part of a team within one of our product categories, responsible for building and developing the area across more than 30 countries. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers, contributing to strategic purchasing activities and product performance.

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

  • Developing and optimising product assortments within your category
  • Creating and maintaining accurate master data
  • Monitoring and analysing product performance and preparing reports
  • Collaborating with suppliers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams
  • Contributing to continuous improvements in quality
  • Working with purchasing tools such as SAP, BI systems and Excel

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:

  • Has completed or will soon complete a master’s or bachelor’s degree within a commercial or business-related field
  • Has a strong interest in purchasing, including product design, quality and functionality
  • Is proficient in Excel, confident working with IT systems and motivated to learn new tools and methods
  • Works well in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and a high level of detail
  • Brings an analytical and structured approach and is confident working with numbers and data
  • Is result-oriented and takes ownership of tasks, stakeholders and KPIs
  • Enjoys working collaboratively and building positive relationships across teams
  • Communicates clearly in Danish and English, both spoken and written
