About the team
Our Banking & Finance team is among the leading practices in Denmark, with top rankings in international directories and one of the largest debt financing practices in the market. We advise Danish and international financial institutions, corporates and investors on complex cross-border transactions across key industries such as renewable energy, shipping and life sciences. You will work alongside colleagues with diverse international backgrounds who share a commercial mindset and a clear focus on delivering high-quality advice.
You will join a team where the work is demanding, your colleagues are highly skilled and dependable, and there is always room for some fun. We value a strong professional community where your development is a priority – responsibility and influence grow with your capabilities.
Your responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, CP management and related finance documents
- Advising on acquisition finance, corporate finance, ship financing, project financing and structured finance transactions
- Advising on bonds, DCM and capital markets transactions, including investment grade, high-yield and sustainable finance instruments
- Advising on financial regulatory matters, including those arising under CRR/CRD, MiFID II, EMIR, DORA and AML/CTF frameworks
- Conducting financing legal due diligence and associated reporting
- Coordinating cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions with international counsel
- Collaborating with colleagues across M&A, capital markets, restructuring and other specialist teams
You will take on real responsibility at an early stage and work directly with clients who expect high standards. At the same time, you will be supported by experienced colleagues who prioritise your development and help you build both legal and commercial expertise.
Your profile
We are looking for either an experienced Assistant Associate or a junior Associate (1-2 years’ PQE). We value your potential as much as your experience. You may already have experience from Banking & Finance or other transactional work, or from a financial institution. What matters is your interest in financial markets, your attention to detail and your motivation to develop. If you are ready to take the next step in your career, we would like to hear from you.
What we offer
We aim to exceed your expectations in the same way we aim to exceed those of our clients. Through our development programme, EXPECT, we support your continuous professional and personal development and help you strengthen your leadership skills over time.
You will be part of a collaborative environment where strong relationships and a shared sense of responsibility create the foundation for success, both professionally and socially.
International opportunity
If you are considering an international career, an interest in living and working in Scandinavia is an advantage. We support relocation and Danish language learning to help you settle in and succeed.
