Freight Forwarding Agent Aerospace

Job Overview 

We're looking for a Freight Forwarding Agent to handle shipments efficiently, ensuring top-quality service for our clients. This role demands a strong focus on detail, ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to safety. 

Your Role

• Obtain all the information necessary to create the best quotes for the shipments 
• Quick turnaround for any requests from clients, frequent follow up with the customers and provide updates 
• Understand AOG situations and ensure shipments are prepared correctly for delivery on time 
• Ensure all the units are properly secured and transported and photo taken (Aircraft engines, APUs, TRs, Inlet Cowls, empty engine stands etc) 
• Create operational file and request for booking to Operational Department in timely manner 
• Obtain competitive rates for better file profit 
• Prepare documentation to meet the shipping lines and airlines requirements and final destination 
• Arrange for Pick-up and delivery, special services for time critical shipments 
• Coordinate in advance with the Warehouse 

Your Background

• Aerospace logistics and freight forwarding expertise 
• Effective communication and customer service 
• Ability to work under pressure and stress professionally 
• Capable to work out of hours and during the weekend when needed
