We are looking for a skilled Product Engineer for our Technical team in Europe at our head office in Hadsten.

Development of new products and technical support to the organisation
As Product Engineer, you are responsible for providing technical support and sharing knowledge internally in the organisation and towards customers and suppliers. You are also developing and maintaining electrical and mechanical documentation. You will work closely with the Technical Team Leader providing improvement suggestions and implementing special/larger projects. Your main assignments are:

  • Designing and developing new products from concept to production, including creating 3D models, drawings and specifications.
  • Creating and maintaining product documentation, including bills of materials, engineering change orders and product manuals.
  • Reading, developing and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Working closely with sales and engineering teams to identify technical requirements and provide customised solutions.
  • Providing technical support to SCM, QC, test center and workshop/warehouse.
  • Providing technical support to motor suppliers.
  • Cross-department collaboration through projects.
  • Representative in Rotating Machines committee (S-502).

You will become part of a dynamic, international team consisting of electrical, mechanical and marine engineeers in Hadsten, Denmark and in Ningbo, China.

Knowledge of motors and experience with SolidWorks/Auto-CAD
You have strong technical knowledge, insight and interest in the application and performance of electric motors, preferably with a bachelor or master degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Marine Engineering. Furthermore you are characterised by the following:

  • Structured and detail oriented.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven.
  • You take responsibility and respect deadlines.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties.
  • Strong knowledge concerning the usage and function of SolidWorks and/or Auto-CAD.
  • Strong communicator – especially in technical English.
  • You thrive in a busy, changing environment.
