VIKING’s Global Finance Department comprises 80 dedicated colleagues, located in Denmark and in Global Business Service, Finance in Bulgaria. Our Accounts Receivable (A/R) team is servicing VIKING's subsidiaries in regards of all A/R functions, using SAP as our major ERP platform.
We have an ambitious business plan, and right now, we are looking for a dedicated Junior Accounts Receivable to join our team. Based at our office in Plovdiv, Bulgaria you will report to the A/R Manager and be involved in the performance of variety of accounts receivable functions as collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past due accounts, keeping track of cash receipts and referring accounts to collection agencies and law offices for VIKING entities across the globe.
Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will work both independently and in cooperation with others.
The following tasks and responsibilities can be expected:
- Send out monthly customer statements and chasing debt to ensure cash is being received within the agreed credit terms
- Assist and coordinate issues regarding sales tax, billing address, PO and etc.
- Ensuring debtor days are kept to a minimum
- Assists in all duties relating to managing customer accounts including, but not limited to, soliciting payments for overdue accounts, approval of orders to release, dealing with outside insurance and collection agencies
- Working with sales and assisting to facilitate new orders / negotiating terms
Your profile
Juniors are welcome, therefore if you have experience in the accounting or A/R field in international company is an advantage. Furthermore:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- MS Office advanced user
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within corporate collecting
- Experienced with SAP is considered as an advantage
On a personal level, you are willing to learn with positive, “can do” attitude. You pay attention to details and accuracy within deadline-driven environment.
Since our corporate language is English, you are fluent in English with able to interact with many levels of employees and provide internal customer service.
