We are seeking a talented System Administrator with expertise in virtualization technologies, particularly hypervisors, and a strong proficiency in scripting with PowerShell. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of virtualization concepts, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to automate tasks effectively. Linux competence is a plus, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain virtualized environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere and KVM based hypervisors.
- Perform regular system upgrades and patches to ensure security and stability.
- Monitor system performance and resource utilization, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline processes.
- Linux system administration tasks (installation, configuration, maintenance) as needed or as part of project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet the organization's technical requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with hypervisors such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or KVM.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell, for automation and task orchestration.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Linux competence is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified, Nutanix, Proxmox etc.) are a plus.
