Quality Engineer

We are now looking for a Quality Engineer to have a crucial impact on our global HSEQ efforts.

As our new Quality Engineer, you will as part of the HSEQ team be responsible for the quality support from Cadeler within corporate function and projects in corporation with the client and ensuring that best practice within quality is implemented and followed within Cadeler as a whole.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Being responsible for building and leading the quality process in corporate projects and engineering
• Provide general quality-related advice specific to the business needs of Cadeler and continuously advising and improving on systems for quality assurance within projects and engineering
• Ensure contractual requirements are incorporated into project management documentation, reviewed, and followed up on
• Interface management regarding quality aspects from client to Cadeler to contractor
• Contractor management with a focus on quality and performance
• Carry out internal and external audits and site inspections of the quality processes
• Ensure that policies and procedures are being properly implemented
• Tender management with respect to quality input and standardising of documents within Cadeler
• Travel activity and vessel visits are expected

You will be reporting to the Head of HSEQ.

We think you will be a good match if you:

• Have a passion for quality and being part of developing systems and processes
• Have practical experience in development and maintenance of ISO 9001 management system
• Are experienced and have proven competences within quality for project management and engineering
• Have good networking skills and the ability to build strong relationships with people
• Hold a relevant academic degree. A supplementary maritime, engineering, or business qualification would be an advantage.
• Enjoy a mix of being on-site visiting the vessel and contractors and being in the office developing documents and follow up on issues/requirements
• Have excellent IT skills and proficient with MS Office applications
• Are proficient in English in speech and writing
