The Position
As an Engineering Responsible, you will be part of a newly established team and will support our project department with design and technical solutions.

Based on the requirements of the process, your main tasks will be to:

  • Make suggestions regarding design, equipment, components, and physical construction.
  • Contribute to all aspects - from design, layout, purchasing, construction, qualification, and validation to documentation.
  • Contribute to the implementation of engineering standards, ensuring that all technical, quality, and safety input is adjusted and implemented.

To sum up, you ensure and live up to good engineering practice as a user representative in our projects. In this position, you will be working in close collaboration with many different stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure high quality, efficiency, reliability, and stability in our upcoming production facility.

It will be necessary to have availability for travelling at some point as you will be working from our main office in Odense, but you will be required to participate in meetings etc. in our office in Høje Taastrup.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • An academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or similar.
  • Experience with working on similar projects and with the design of equipment and installations, including validation and qualification.
  • Experience working in a GMP environment within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in English, Danish is an advantage.

Furthermore, on a personal level, you are detail-oriented and flexible with a high sense of responsibility. With a structured approach to tasks, you thrive in a dynamic environment and can adjust to change quickly.

About the Department
You will be joining the Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEX) department, which is responsible for designing, planning, and building major fill & finish expansion projects across Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT) at Novo Nordisk. Our department is committed to delivering innovative solutions and driving change in the pharmaceutical industry. With a global approach and collaboration with multiple sites and cultures, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of millions of patients worldwide.
