For our Solution System Team Department within the SW Division, we are looking for a System Test Architect for our existing System Test Team. You will be part of our small dedicated System Test Architect Forum.

How to contribute to our vision
In the Solution System Team, we fulfill the role of a Solution Level System Team according to SAFe. Which means that we are responsible for; the SW test strategy, the enforcement of it, and the creation and maintenance of our CI build- and test environments in which automated tests are executed. We are responsible for the definition, implementation and operation of all Solution/System level tests, thus ensuring the high SW quality required by our customer operating wind farms globally. We use BDD as our requirement and test process, which means all system level features are formulated in Gherkin.

  • You will ensure that all new features and business areas are analyzed for their testability and test coverage. You will together with the SW architect ensure the proper balance between component, product and system test.
  • You will work together with the PM in a few projects to ensure the needed test design and test plan.
  • You will act as a technical competence center for the test teams.
  • You will be working on test design at different levels: UI and API while addressing very different areas: functional, performance, stability and security, and very different products: servers over embedded controllers to network and HW devices.
  • With your deep knowledge of test principles and test automation, you will interact with all product test teams to ensure collaboration, reusability, and consistent test level through the value chain.
  • You will analyze flaky test cases in our complex system doing RCA and propose improvements.

What you need to make a difference

  • You have an academic degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. You preferably have an ISTQB certification, but your passion for Test automation and SW architecture in a CD environment is most important.
  • You have expert knowledge of test automation in an agile environment.
  • You have expert knowledge of SW architecture and governance hereof.
  • You have strong analytical skills, that enable you to understand the features of a complex system of systems.
  • You have strong people skills, that enable you to seek the information you need in the organization both when analyzing new features and which enables you to influence and technically influence the full SW test community.
  • You have extensive experience in test and test automation of non-functional areas including security.
  • You can work within a team to achieve common objectives.
  • You are ‘hands-on’ and can get things done in a maintainable manner.
  • You take ownership of individual tasks and can drive changes at an organizational level.
  • You have experience in applying agile software development practices (e.g. SAFe)
  • You are motivated by and interested in automation and SW development.
  • You have excellent English verbal and written language skills - a basic understanding of Danish is advantageous.
