• Work as a subject matter expert within a developing discipline, shaping and contributing to the long-term development of personnel security in Equinor.

• Raise awareness to personnel security and insider risk management across the Equinor organisation.

• Undertake and be involved in a variety of tasks linked to personnel security activities which will entail extensive cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management, both internally and externally at all levels of the organisation.

• Hold the responsibility for assessing, developing and supporting the implementation of proportionate and incremental measures throughout the employment and third-party lifecycle, from preventive (to responsive) mechanisms.

• Enable the organisation to continuously improve through driving learning and training.

Personnel security as a discipline seeks to protect Equinor assets against employees who knowingly or unknowingly commit insider acts.
It also seeks to protect the security of our people. Personnel security risk, and the security of our people is managed by a range of functions and teams in Equinor.

Personnel security as a function seeks to coordinate and support the work of these different teams and to provide a framework for the management of insider risk.

We are a small but developing discipline with a high level of activity and many exciting new tasks and projects coming in the future.
