Electronic Technician, Lystrup

Therefore, we are currently looking for an Electronic Technician to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

Team and Role
As an Electronic Technician you will be part of development projects from Radar Systems, Naval Solutions and Self Protection Systems of Aircrafts.

The job consists of supporting and cooperation with Electrical-, Mechanical- and System Engineers regarding schematics, drawings and harness/test equipment design. As well as building prototypes, racks, cables and test equipment.

You will become part of the Mechatronics department, which functions as a "go to" department for problem solving, and it is expected that you are agile and have a service minded approach to your work.

The Mechatronics department consists of 8 Engineers, working as a team to support projects across most of Termas domains. We are part of Terma's hardware and structure organization, a center of excellence for all hardware development.

Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:

• Building assemblies, test boxes, cables and harness
• Writing technical documentation, schematics, drawings, test procedures, block diagrams
• Designing test boxes, harness and cables
• Assisting Technical Product Managers with change management of existing products
• You will be responsible for assisting the overall design of the unit or system with harness and cabling, along with support of enabling our production facility to manufacture harness designs

Qualifications
The key qualifications include:

• Experience with Siemens Capital - Harness design, schematic, 3D routing, wire lists and drawings
• Experience with ERP Systems - We are using IFS, which is an advantage to be familiar with
• Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
• Experience with Cadence OrCAD – Schematics
• Solid skills in problem solving
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• In general, the job will require a high flair for IT and documentation as well as strong skills in English both written and spoken

Required education/degree:

• Educational background as an Electronics Technician or a similar field of study

• We are looking for a service minded Technician with a flair for design and documentation. It is important that you can work independently, and drive assigned tasks from start to finish
• The job offers a lot of freedom regarding working from home and being flexible with working hours
• Likewise, the job requires interacting with a wide variety of stakeholders from colleagues/Engineers to Project Managers and sometimes customers
