Associate OT Security Engineer

Your position
In your new role as OT Security Specialist in the OT Security, Engineering, Renewables division, you will be a valuable member of a dedicated team responsible for the engineering design of large offshore substations, focusing on OT Security infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in industrial security while contributing to sustainable energy projects.

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 30-60 days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As an OT Security Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in OT security projects, helping ensure infrastructure integrity and security.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Installing and configuring equipment in support of OT security infrastructure.
• Assisting engineers in OT Security FAT/SAT tests for industrial and networking equipment.
• Supporting engineering documentation for system designs.
• Implementing customer-specific Cyber/OT Security requirements across subsystems.
• Conducting network penetration tests and risk assessments.

Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized team player with a strong desire to learn and grow in OT Security.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

• Background knowledge in IT technology, with familiarity in infrastructure, scripting/automation, or networking systems.
• Ideally, a university degree or equivalent education.
• Basic understanding of IP communications, firewall technology, and security principles.
• Ability to write clear engineering documentation.
• Motivation to follow instructions and collaborate effectively with experienced engineering staff.
