Electronics Engineer with a passion for Electronics

Oticon A/S

Imagine a universe of all high-tech engineering competencies under one roof. Imagine more than 1000 engineers working as a united force on unique medical products. Products that change people’s lives for the better. Now, stop imagining and enter our world - the Demant universe.

Become part of a great team!

We love highly complex tasks. We love to challenge the limits of what is possible. And we like being part of a complete product cycle, delivering products for mass production in a miniature scale. To perform the best, we have the latest generation of instruments and technologies at hand, including our own tool shop, production and test facilities and our own production sites.

No matter if you are curious about artificial intelligence or want to interface with our production team – you will find an expert in-house to spar with. We work according to SAFe principles and collaborate dynamically. The Demant organization have a flat hierarchy, where we always are available for our peers and your voice will be heard.

Designing world-leading electronics

All in all, we are about 60+ engineers and technicians in our Hardware Electronics Group. Our main goal is to develop the electronic solutions for all Demant’s hearing instruments and accessories. We have a close collaboration with both the Chipset Group, which develops the company’s proprietary IC’s and the production site. Our team integrates these narrow-pitched 200 μm IC’s, onto tiny PCBs along with technologies like Bluetooth & NFMI antennas, acoustical & magnetic transducers and rechargeable batteries, to finally put the entire hearing amplifier system together.

Joining us, you will be involved in all development steps from initial design and all the way to production test and eventually, handover for mass-production. Designing small size products with great performance is the key driver for our success and the limited space and high integration level makes this a very challenging, yet motivating task.

We imagine

You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering and have a good team-spirit. You like to share knowledge with other team members and have a curious mind, with a passion for designing and implementing new solutions, as well as building upon existing ones. Most importantly, it is important that you can thrive in a big organization and have good cross-department collaboration skills.

We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to strengthen our R&D team. If you see yourself in the above description and can tick off some of the following, we would like to hear from you:

• Experience with electronics development, digital, analog or both.
• Use of simulation tools for design tradeoffs and early design exploration
• Coils and magnetic coupling, Near-Field Magnetic Induction (NFMI)
• Experience with Microcontrollers, LED, Flash Memory
• Electronics miniaturization and integration challenges – pushing the design to the limit
• PCB layout with signal integrity and EMC in mind
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems consisting of both HW and SW.
• Experience with mass production of electronics.
• Solid documentational skills of own work and of electronic designs.
• Experience with regulatory requirements, preferably for medical devices.
• Programming skills within Phyton or the like.

We believe in the good life

As a company, we trust in and value your professionalism, experience, and dedication. Your new perspectives, insights and ideas will be the cornerstones of our success, and we encourage you to think out of the box and structure your workflow with a high level of freedom.

We are a company that takes pride in delivering solutions that allow people to live their lives to the max. We also recognize that to bring energy and inspiration to work, you need to re-energize and spend time with family, friends, and hobbies in a healthy work life balance.

You will be working in a growing international company, where there is rich opportunity for professional and personal development. You will be part of a dynamic environment built on trust and openness, where you will find a strong will to win. Together with your talented colleagues who take pride in making a difference, you will have the opportunity to put your mark on tomorrow's solutions.
