Join us as our new Legal Transformation & Insights Specialist
We are looking for a new data- and process driven team member for our team in Legal Strategy & Operations.
This is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact by shaping the ways of working for tomorrow’s legal department through optimization of ways of working through digital tools and creating transparency on the value of Legal. In this role, you will be working not only with Legal, but through projects and alignments have interactions with the whole value chain of Novonesis.

The Legal Strategy & Operations team is part of the global Legal team in Novonesis. The global Legal team consists of colleagues in Denmark, USA, Brazil, France, Malaysia and China. In Denmark, we are based in Lyngby.
The team is providing support on all kind of legal matters to the business and other backbone functions. We are currently working intensively on various integration projects following the merger between Novozymes and Chr. Hansen, including aligning on process, governance, systems etc.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Leading and driving legal transformation efforts to further increase efficiency and scalability of the Legal function, including process improvements through change management initiatives and technology adoption.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams globally to identify areas for legal process improvements using automation aligned with business needs.
- Maintaining and ensuring that Legal’s systems and processes are up to date and fit for the needs of the Legal functions, the business and other relevant stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing data-driven strategies to provide actionable insights and improve decision-making within the Legal function.
- Conducing thorough analysis of legal operations, identify trends, and present findings to Legal management to support continued modernization of the company’s legal processes.
- Providing relevant transparency to the business on key performance metrics within each business area related to contracts, compliance, resource pull and other relevant parameters within the Legal function.
- Being a key contributor to a number of key projects in Legal including New Global Contract and Matter Management Set-up, New Legal Vendor Management Program and New Personal Data Compliance System.
Potentially relevant experience:
- Educational background: Bachelor or Candidates from university or business schools, such as KU, CBS, RUC, ITU or DTU.
- Understanding legal processes and data.
- Strong experience in project execution and change management.
- Experience in working in a highly collaborative manner across a variety of business functions.
- Experience in using and managing technology processes, procedures, and programs utilized by in-house corporate functions such as legal functions.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with a talent for making systems, processes and data accessible to non-technical audiences.
