As a key player in the field of cancer diagnostics, we are looking for a talented Procurement Specialist to join our Pathology Procurement team. Your Role: key responsibilities
- Collaborative Excellence: Work closely with your colleagues in Pathology Procurement to enhance supply chain processes, including purchasing, planning, and inventory management, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Process Optimization: Be the driving force behind the optimization and standardization of operational procurement processes, making our workflows more efficient and effective.
- Training & Development: Partner with the SAP super user to train the team on new and improved processes, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Analytical Support: Provide vital support to local supply chain management through detailed reports and analyses, including on-time delivery performance and inventory projections for instruments.
- KPI Development: Create insightful reports for management, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure a seamless purchasing and planning process.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement and inventory management of Agilent manufacturing materials, components, and services, aligning with our supply chain optimization goals.
- Vendor Engagement: Collaborate with vendors on specific tasks, representing the Operational Procurement Team and building strong partnerships.
- Regulatory Compliance: Navigate and implement specific regulatory requirements that impact our business and vendor relationships.
- Global Representation: Represent Global Procurement in international projects, contributing to process optimization across functions.
- Innovation Initiatives: Lead and participate in exciting automation and digitalization projects that drive efficiency and innovation within our procurement processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across the Pathology business and engage with external vendors, enhancing our global operations.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering, or a related field. Post-graduate certifications are a plus!
- Experience: Typically, 4+ years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of working in a regulated environment, including ISO 900, ISO 13485, GMP, and FDA regulations (21 CFR part 820).
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for process improvement.
