The position
As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our development laboratory. You'll work with cutting-edge techniques and equipment to ensure high-quality results while maintaining compliance with safety and quality guidelines. Your contributions will be critical to advancing our formulation solutions and cell-based products.
Your primary tasks will consist of, but are not limited to:
• Develop and execute mixing procedures to combine cell drug products with formulation solutions.
• Thaw, cultivate, and manage mammalian cell cultures.
• Perform physical material characterization of formulations and prepare solutions for development activities.
• Oversee daily laboratory maintenance, coordinate equipment services, and manage vendor technician visits.
• Establish and optimize procedures for the use of equipment within formulation analytics.
Qualifications

To be successful for the position, we envision that you have:
• Relevant educational background as a laboratory technician (Laborant) or equivalent.
• Experience with analytical methods and process optimizations.
• Proficiency in cell culture work.
• Familiarity with a variety of instruments and software programs, with a willingness to learn new tools.
• Strong experience in writing and updating SOPs.
Fluency in spoken and written English is essential for effective communication and documentation in this role.

About the department
You will join an international and dedicated Cell Therapy Cryopreservation and Formulation area where we work in cross-project teams including scientists and laboratory technicians. We have expertise in cryopreservation, formulation, and analytical development. We truly believe that cell therapy therapies will make a difference in the lives of patients. The job is based in our state-of-the-art facilities, where collaboration and innovation are at the heart of our fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.
