Background
DCA Lebanon has worked in mine action since 2007. In addition to reducing the harm from explosion, clearance activities also release contaminated land for socio-economic development in the context of rising demands from the local and refugee population. In 2012, DCA began implementing humanitarian and development projects through local partners and scaled up its operations in 2021 due to the deepening crisis in the country.

Role
The Finance Admin supports the office with both ad hoc and continuous tasks, constantly coordinates with line managers and relevant colleagues, and supervises the daily work. The Finance Admin Assistant will support the finance department by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and providing essential support to the finance team.
Responsibilities
- Perform cash and bank payments and ensure payment vouchers have attached all relevant supporting documents, including checking and verification that such documents are genuine and accurate and filing of vouchers according to specifications.
- Assist in re-allocation of cost not recorded correctly.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist SFO in preparation of cashbook and registration of transaction.
- Assist HR in Preparing and follow up on Purchase requisition for office needs.
- Assist HR in drafting and maintaining all Admin and Office contracts.
- Assist HR in supporting all visitors with travel, accommodation and visa and so on.
- Assist HR in issuing IDs for new joiner and update on yearly basis.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
- Prepare monthly bank and Cash reconciliations.
- Ensure all relevant supporting documents are filed with signed reconciliation and outstanding issues are communicated to relevant staff for action and ensure these actions are followed up on.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar administrative or finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
Reporting
- Regular reports on the performance and services will be submitted to the Head of Support Services (HOSS) on a weekly basis.
- Regular check-ins and feedback sessions will be conducted to ensure effective coordination and support.
