Welcome to Group Operational Sustainability
Based out of our HQ in Hedehusene, you will head a team focusing on our decarbonisation services globally – a dynamic and growing team at the forefront of DSV's sustainability journey. This team is dedicated to driving impactful initiatives such as the DSV Decarbonising Logistics Services, the global Ambassador Network, and the Carbon Fund, all focused on reducing emissions and advancing decarbonisation strategies globally.

The team currently consists of 2 colleagues, and we are expecting that you will grow the regional setup with 5-7 more employees.

Shape sustainability at a global scale
As our new Director, you will lead and develop key decarbonisation services aligned with corporate targets, enhancing the maturity of the Ambassador Network, and overseeing the management of the Carbon Fund Programme. This role offers a unique blend of building on well-established frameworks while also driving innovation and shaping new strategies and initiatives.

With a close collaboration with a wide network of stakeholders that spans both borders and professional levels, you will more specifically be:

• Leading the Sustainability Networks, including the regional Ambassador Network and the regional setup focusing on our decarbonisation services
• Developing long-term strategies and objectives for networks together with your team, ensuring alignment with organisational sustainability goals and market-relevant decarbonisation services
• Setting and managing sales KPIs related to decarbonisation services across various regions
• Support colleagues with customer calls and the development of sales competencies in the regions and secure the right assistance to country ambassadors with selling sustainability services
• Driving and implementing strategic initiatives focused on maturing ambassador setups and expanding regional presence
• Overseeing the Carbon Fund Programme to support decarbonisation targets
• Building and managing a team dedicated to advancing sustainability, network maturity, and sales performance
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including supporting divisional leads in executing and delivering on regional decarbonisation road maps
• Developing and managing a team of Regional Sustainability Managers with direct reporting lines

Solid business acumen and great strategic leadership experience
You have solid leadership skills as well as great communication abilities so that you are able to develop meaningful professional relationships. And with your pragmatic management style and structured approach you manage to bring your team and stakeholders alike aboard the journey.

We furthermore imagine that you:

• Have a master´s degree in e.g. business management
• Bring solid experience in operational sustainability with strong knowledge of decarbonisation strategies
• Have extensive and strong leadership and team management skills and experience
• Have commercial experience in customer-facing roles, with a track record of achieving sales targets
• Are able to manage processes and projects with tenacity in a fast-paced environment
