Logistic Coordinator for Aalborg Portland A/S

At Aalborg Portland, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality cement products to customers worldwide. As a Logistic Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless and efficient coordination of cement deliveries. Your primary focus will be handling orders of bagged cement products from domestic customers, while also assisting with the coordination of bulk deliveries to both domestic and export customers.

About the role
You will join a small team of two other Logistic Coordinators, with the opportunity to have significant influence on daily operations. This role offers excellent opportunities for learning, as well as professional and personal growth.

Your primary responsibilities
- Monitor incoming orders for bagged (and bulk) cement through our ERP system (SAP).

- Accurately input, update, and track order information/details in real time.

- Coordinate deliveries of bagged cement with our carrier.

- Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure timely availability of bagged cement products for dispatch.

- Track delivery progress and resolve logistical challenges as needed.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for domestic customers of bagged cement, proactively providing updates on order status and delivery timelines.

- Address any inquires or issues with a customer-centric and professional approach.

- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of the order workflow within SAP.

- Verify and process incoming invoices from our carrier of bagged cement, ensuring accurate freight cost management.

Your Profile
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a customer-focused mindset who thrives in a dynamic logistics and customer service environment. Ideally, you have prior experience in order coordination, logistics, or supply chain management, and familiarity with SAP is a significant advantage. Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you will work closely with our other coordinators, the production team, and our carriers of both bagged and bulk cement.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

- Are systematic and analytical in your way of working.

- Are fluent in English both in written and verbal (German will be beneficial as well).

- Are skilled in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, and Power Point.
