Field Service Coordination Manager

Job Overview Are you looking for the next step in your career and find Field Service interesting? Then this might just be the position right for you. At Cobham Satcom we are looking for our next Field Service Coordination Manager who will be a vital link between our organization and our clients. The role includes the typical responsibilities of a Field Service Coordinator, but also includes tasks of developing new processes for service escalation and technical support tasks. The role requires some days of travel to other sites and companies but is not expected to exceed more than 60 days within the calendar year. It is possible to be based remotely for this role, and a flexible approach to work hours is required.
Key Responsibilities
• Efficient management of installation and service requirements in line with contractual requirements and escalation priorities. • Develop existing service escalation coordination/administration processes to deliver a scalable approach that supports global aftersales requirements. • Drive support requirements for spare parts. • Develop warranty process and ensure customer closure is delivered quickly.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• Experienced in Field Service Administration and Coordination – global understanding of regional requirements in third party and direct service delivery • Experienced in Remote Field Service Coordination • Experienced in Remote Fault diagnosis • Proven technical knowledge of mobile satellite communications is essential • Strong knowledge of maritime and land communications customer requirements

• Ability to mentor, direct and influence is essential. • Capability to manage and prioritise multiple activities with short deadlines. • Comfortable with organisational change management. • Demonstrated ability to “think outside the box” & identify achievable solutions.
