Craft Meaningful Design with Purpose and Innovation
You will translate user insights into desirable, feasible, and manufacturable solutions, balancing form, function, and user experience. Working closely with engineering, usability, and commercial teams, you will ensure alignment across user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints while driving a clear and cohesive design vision.
In this role, you will actively manage key stakeholders across disciplines and contribute to product planning, representing the design perspective in shaping priorities, roadmap decisions, and overall product direction.

You’ll be surrounded by passionate colleagues who challenge each other to think deeper, push boundaries, and continuously evolve our design experience. Whether sketching in the studio, testing with users, or collaborating with engineers, we stay grounded in our mission: to create products that restore dignity and empower users.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership
• Lead end-to-end design from concept to mass production
• Translate research and insights into clear product concepts and strategies
• Define user experience, design intent, and product narratives
• Ensure alignment with Coloplast’s brand and design language
• Strong storytelling skills, able to communicate design rationale
• Contribute to design reviews and elevate design quality
• Support and mentor junior designers

Experience
• 7+ years in Industrial Design
• Degree in Industrial Design or related field
• Strong portfolio of shipped products that showcases your contribution
• Fluency in English

Expertise
• Advanced skills in sketching, CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino), and visualization
• Strong CMF sensibility and product detailing
• Solid understanding of manufacturing (e.g., injection molding, prototyping)
• Proficiency in rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot, Vizcom) and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies
• Familiarity with service design is a plus

Mindset
• Able to lead and translate insights into clear, actionable design direction
• Collaborative, proactive, and quality-driven
• Passionate about human-centered design and meaningful impact
