Postdoc. researcher

• Multi-physical FE modeling, experimental testing and design optimization of mechanical reliability and electrical performance of thermo-electric generators for solar power systems in collaboration with Powerpipe Company. The project includes both experimental testing and modeling of different physics including heat transfer, fluid mechanics, structural mechanics and electrical potential. As the outcome of this project, a mechanically reliable and electrically efficient waste heat recovery system has been successfully designed, modeled and tested.

Period: september 2013 - september 2015
2010 - 2013

PhD research fellow

• Integrated thermo-mechanical modelling and experimental testing of the wafer based precision glass molding process for camera lens module in collaboration with Kaleido Company. In this project, evaluation of the glass-mold interface friction as well as design optimization of the process parameters including pressing force, pressing time, pressing temperature, cooling rate, etc. were carried out using finite element analysis and experimental tests to improve the final product quality and reduce the production cost. As the result of this work, a comprehensive mode, capable of simulating the viscoelastic behavior of glass and predicting optimized molding parameters, was developed for minimizing the costly empirical trial and error procedures which are normally needed in lens manufacturing processes.

2009 - 2009

Research assistant

• Design and modelling of the polymer based composite tubes working under thermo-mechanical loading.
Work area: Forskning & Udvikling
Period: februar 2009 - december 2009
2006 - 2009

Design engineer and FE analyst

• Computer Aided Design (CAD), design for manufacturing and finite element (FE) analysis of mechanical structures, pressure vessels, etc. My task was to design mechanical parts using standard codes and CAD softwares such as Mechanical Inventor and Solid Works, and then carry out finite element (FE) analysis of the designed parts to evaluate the strength and reliability of the designed structures.
