Providing specialist support (on-site and telefonic) for the implementation and updating of the Electronic Patient Journal system, Sundhedsplatformen (SP), on all sections of hospitals in East Denmark.

As IT Specialist I am:

  • Educating, supporting and peer-to-peer training the system end-users (doctors, nurses and medical secretary) in SP-related issues.
  • Incident management and troubleshooting of issues in SP reported by clinicians and hospital managers.

    This thesis worked towards investigating the possibilities of producing, testing and simulating an endovascular electrode with an electrically conductive tip so that it became blood repellent after RF-induced heating. The results of the project were used in the development a radiofrequency embolization device.
