(Senior) Full Stack Developer

Join us in this role where you’ll shape the development of digital solutions in a fast-paced power trading environment. You’ll develop and maintain applications to enable the digital transformation required by Ørsted power trading activities. We’re looking for new team members with varying experience, from regular to senior positions, to join us.

Welcome to Software Engineering
You’ll be part of Trading Express Agile Release Train (ART) where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for intraday and day-ahead trading for power across Europe. We’re an agile team developing and supporting applications for the Danish-based trading floor. You’ll also have an anchoring in a competency centre with colleagues with the same technical expertise as you, ensuring your continuous professional and personal development.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • driving innovation and continuous technical improvement for intraday and day-ahead power trading
  • being responsible for the full development lifecycle from refinement to design, development, test automation, deployment, and production maintenance
  • providing support to traders and back office in relation to application and operational issues across the production environment
  • setting high standards for best software development practices, using modern practices and tools to support the DevOps journey.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a proven track record in .NET, Java skills are an added advantage
  • are familiar with front-end development, preferably Angular
  • are proficient in cloud and container technologies, such as DevOps, Kubernetes, Git Repository, Build and Release (CI/CD), and relational database management systems (RDMS) such as SQL Server
  • are driven to get our traders to the next level of automation for power trading by providing them with the best tools and applications
  • take pride in following the DevOps principles of flow, feedback, automation, and continuous improvement.
