Ørsted
The Ørsted Global Graduate Programme is designed to unleash your potential. We offer you an intense two-year developmental journey where you’ll learn from experts within your field and get diverse project experience, develop transferable skills, and build a strong cross-functional network with other talents.
The graduate journey
Our Global Graduate Programme consists of three rotations, where you’ll solve business challenges, take responsibility for your own assignments, and engage in our day-to-day business decisions.
Your rotations will be within Trading and Revenue, which is responsible for managing the revenues of Ørsted’s portfolio. Spanning origination and trading, you’ll structure complex contracts and bespoke products for trading counterparts and end-customers, delivering bottom line impact. You’ll play an important role in analysing and helping to take our portfolio to the highest level. You’ll be working closely with our sister teams who support us, always focusing on generating value through green power.
You’ll play an important role in:
- preparing and presenting materials for senior management to make commercial decisions on our contracts and portfolio strategies
- analysing trends and large amounts of data to inform commercial trading decisions
- managing a complex set of internal and external stakeholders, from counterparts to financiers, legal, and tax
- negotiating commercial contracts
- supporting our algo trading team
To succeed in this role, you:
- have completed a master's degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics or a related field from before 1 September 2025
- ideally have a strong interest or skills in Python and computer science
- have a maximum of one year of full-time, relevant work experience between your master's completion and 1 September 2025
- take initiative, have drive, and want to contribute directly to Ørsted’s bottom line
- are a team player who thrives on collaboration
- take a strong problem-solving approach and can think outside the box to deliver creative solutions to complex problems
- have strong communication skills and are fluent in both spoken and written English.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
