Leave your mark on the future solutions
As a Control Engineer at DIS, you will experience an independent job in a varied workday with professional challenges matching your areas of expertise. You will be responsible for delivering advanced control solutions for our customer’s products to meet a set of stringent design requirements. You will be in charge of ensuring optimal performance of the controller under all conditions in the new product development phase, technology projects, or product customization.
You will be involved in various stages of the design, from early engagement with customer and product management, all the way to implementation and validation in the field. You will be responsible for performing technology feasibility studies, maturing new or existing control concepts, and improving the performance of existing control strategies. You will be developing and tuning control algorithms and implementing them in Matlab/Simulink or other specific simulation packages. You will also be in charge of performing FMEA, risk analysis, and RCA following the field implementation and test.
We are looking for someone capable of identifying relevant control approaches tailored to specific applications and also based on existing field data. The ideal person should be on top of current research in the field and be able to collaborate closely with academic institutions.
Your profile
We require that you hold a relevant M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Control Engineering or a closely related field. Furthermore, it is essential that: You are an expert – or at least a very experienced user of Matlab / Simulink
- You have experience with the design of control algorithms for complex industrial applications and with validating their performance
- You are very familiar with Linear Control Design tools (Bode, Nyquist, Kalman, root locus, etc.)
- You are familiar with basic concepts of Optimal Control, Model-Predictive Control, and System Identification
- Good knowledge of SW design and implementation, as well as good system understanding of mechatronic systems and physical systems.
As part of a consulting company, we emphasize that you thrive in a dynamic and customer-oriented environment, where you thrive in a dynamic work environment with challenges and changes along the way. As you work closely with both customers and colleagues, it is important that you are outgoing, empathetic and have strong collaboration and communication skills in both Danish and English. As a person you are proactive, you work independently, and you manage to structure your daily work. You are passionate about your profession, keep up to date with developments and take pride in high quality and professionalism. At the same time, you understand the importance of exchanging experiences and knowledge sharing with colleagues in the solution of your tasks – and you are of course happy to participate in social and collegiate events.
