As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will be a key-player in establishing and maintaining a continuous improvement culture in ABB Robotics. You will typically be driving and implementing cross-functional improvement projects and activities within operations in the local ABB factory. In activities and projects, you are utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology and creating transparency to monitor progress. Your work will be mixed between projects and our day-to-day ongoing work. This is also a prerequisite for you to have a good understanding of our way of working and improvement work. An additional challenge during your time with us will be the relocation of production into the new Campus Robotics of 65,000 m2 with all that entails, planned in 2026 with efficiency work ahead of the move.

Your responsibilities

• Understanding the organizations objectives and needs, and suggesting projects, actions and tools to achieve them
• Driving improvement projects (small and large) with a hands-on problem-solving approach
• Providing training and coaching within lean principles and techniques within operations so that they are better equipped to drive their improvement efforts for themselves

Your background

• You have experience in process development and/or continuous improvement role within industry sector. Problem solving (8D, 6 Sigma, Kaizen, Process chain analyses)
• Excellent written and communication skills, as projects and problem solving will be handled cross-functional where you in many cases will be leading the activity
• A collaborative team player with solution-oriented and structured mindset
• Strong commitment to drive improvements and ability implement those changes
• Confidence in project leading cross-functional projects and activities
• Knowledge in Lean Six Sigma, preferably with a minimum of Greenbelt Certification
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent relevant field
