They are currently in need of a strong project manager for the Production Support department (PTA), who can drive projects effectively from start to finish.

You will play a central role in driving their improvement and optimizing projects on existing equipment and also expanding with new production equipment and methods.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Planning, executing, and overseeing technical projects focused on sustainability, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement in close collaboration with the production team using a LEAN Six Sigma, DMAIC toolset.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, User Requirement Specifications (URS), manage validations, and budgets to ensure all project deliverables are met.
  • Ensuring effective communication and engagement with the relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant quality and safety standards throughout the project, during installation, start-up, and operation. (including ATEX legislation, the Machinery Directive, CE approvals and conduct hazard and functional analyses (HAZOP))

Meet your team
The Production Support department (PTA) consists of 9 skilled colleagues with different technical backgrounds, including four project managers. Together the department ensures a stable and high-quality standard in the production through preventive maintenance and optimizations on existing equipment.

You will become part of a dynamic team driven by a shared vision of innovation and sustainability and have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experts in your field, and contribute to meaningful solutions that have a global impact.

Your work and projects will contribute to, and be an essential part in, achieving Alfa Laval’s ambitious goal: To become carbon neutral in 2030.
Professional qualifications:

  • Technical background (e.g. Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related field.)
  • Project Management experience: Proven ability in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management within a manufacturing or production industry
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of production processes and manufacturing technologies and principles eg. LEAN and Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of quality management and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing environments.
  • Language skills: As part of a global organization writing and speaking English at a professional level is a must.
