Hello there. Our software team at Reshape is on the lookout for more brilliant engineers like yourself. We're on a pretty exciting journey, building the next big thing in biotechnology research. What tools do we use? We primarily utilize Python, SQL, and AWS on the backend, with Svelte powering our frontend development.

The purpose of the role
Reshape Biotech is looking for a Software Engineer with fullstack developer skills to join our expanding Software Development team. As our new developer, you’ll be working on pretty spectacular things - building product to enable a sustainable future together with other top professionals within Product Design, Product Management, Customer Consulting and Hardware Developers. You’ll be building the software that powers our lab automation robots, and the cloud platform that serves results and manages data for our customers.

This is what you will be doing:

• Working across the stack on various product lines: hardware integrations, cloud infrastructure and frontend.
• Working with hardware teams to build seamless user experiences across our products.
• Working with data to understand and guide user behaviour.
• Making and implementing design decisions throughout the user experience.
• Guiding technical decision-making regarding cloud infrastructure and software best-practices.

What we value:

• Proficient developer with extensive experience within Python (FastAPI, Django), SQL, AWS and Svelte.
• Experience or interest in working closely together with hardware.
• Passion for hacking across the stack, and on multiple products.
• Experience from (or a strong interest in) other fast-growing startups.
