Planning Business Analyst

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PLANNING BUSINESS ANALYST TO JOIN OUR TEAM IN PARIS.
YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU
Reporting to the Head of planning, you are responsible for the analysis of the collection, sales strategy and forecast sales. You have an alert and advisory role for the buying teams and the merchandising department.

As such, your main missions are:

Forecasting and planning:
Responsible for the breakdown of the purchasing budget per week according to the
implementation strategy and marketing planning
Responsible for objective stock levels per week and management of OTB
Monitoring the planning of orders and receipts

Sales strategy:
Define the right discount rate according to the performance of the collection.
Forecast the landing by season.
Planning the stock landing for permanents and carryovers

Reporting and analyses:
Responsible for weekly reporting allowing monitoring of activity per week and cumulative season
vs. budget and vs. LY
Analyze the collection performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
Reporting set up: Standardize, optimize, and automate weekly reporting.
Monitoring of commitment vs. budget
Monitoring of the Collection Plan
Inputs for the construction of new collections (season collection performance)

Required profile:

• Higher education, such as a Business School or a combination of training and similar function
  • Professional experience approximately, 3-5 years in goods flow planning and purchasing
  • Independence, ability to work to strict deadlines and meet set objectives
  • Appetite for figures and product affinity
  • Very good analytical skills and critical thinking
  • Vision strategies and business-oriented mind set
  • Perfect command of the Excel computer tool
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Structured, organized, autonomous, and proactive,
  • Strong ability to work effectively with different teams
