Join us in this role where you’ll be part of our global construction organisation to develop and built the next generation of offshore wind projects. You’ll play a central role in marine and helicopter coordination and assisting in incidents through our emergency response.
Welcome to Offshore Operation and Logistics
You’ll be part of Global Marine and Helicopter Coordination Center in Grimbsy where you, together with your 14 colleagues, will be responsible for ensuring round the clock and year coordination and scheduling of vessels and helicopters for transporting personnel and equipment to and from global offshore wind farm sites. You’ll be monitoring and managing emergency response operations, ensuring rapid and effective communication, and action during incidents. As a team, we collaborate across projects to embrace learnings and we take pride in keeping developing a high level of service and working closely with each other to provide an enjoyable working environment.
You’ll play an important role in:
- ensuring surveillance and coordination of all maritime and aviation traffic on the OWF and liaising with masters and pilots throughout operations
- ensuring location and tracking of all personnel offshore, incl. the maintenance and update of IT Platforms
- engaging in emergency response activities, incl. the direct response to emergencies offshore and the facilitation of the Group emergency set-up for incidents globally
- maintaining constant situational awareness of the project, ensuring comprehensive awareness of ongoing activities, SIMOPs, dialogue with masters and pilots, and prevailing conditions
- maintaining project documentation and support to the organisation.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have proactive mindset, with the ability to foresee potential issues and SIMOPs in offshore activities, incl. coordinating alternative solutions
- handle stress well and can keep an overview in a multi-task environment
- have excellent administrative skills
- possess the ability to utilise new IT platforms
- are a naval or ship officer, a logistic coordinator, have a technical bachelor’s degree or another relevant maritime, aeronautical, coordination, or other transferrable skills.
