How you will make an impact
In this commercial role, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with our customers in Denmark and gaining a deep understanding of their sustainability needs. Drawing on your expertise in sustainability and our cooperative's expertise, you will create compelling value propositions that strengthen our joint commitment to sustainability, increase sales of our sustainable products and enhance our positive reputation.

As our Customer Sustainability Manager, you will play a key role in making our sustainability goals a reality and thereby ensure a future proofing dairy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Building lasting relationships with key external stakeholders to understand their needs and develop shared long-term plans for shared collaboration
• Co-developing and implementing customer sustainability projects and initiatives
• Embedding sustainability into sales processes and customer engagement processes
• Enhance the skills and performance across Arla Denmark through training and coaching
• Leading the internal change agenda, where you develop and implement a sustainability culture and mindset across Arla Denmark to drive engagement and participation in sustainability initiatives

What will make you successful
To excel in this role, you have at least a few years’ of relevant experience, preferably from a commercial and/or sustainability role. You are customer-oriented and preferably, you have worked with large FMCG customers. This is, however, not a requirement. You have a relevant educational background and are able to communicate complex challenges clearly. Excelling in both Danish and English is a requirement.

Your ability to collaborate with and understand the customers' needs is essential. Collaboration and relationship-building with internal stakeholders are equally important, as you will be working closely with stakeholders across our organisation to develop customer insights and drive development. Overall, the Customer Sustainability Manager would need to be a change agent and strong leader who can effectively communicate the importance of sustainability to colleagues and customers, inspiring them to take action to support Arla's sustainability goals.
