We are a young and expanding team delivering infrastructure in a semi-automated manner, with a stern focus on fully automating service consumption using an agile approach.

Roles are continuously refined to boost collaboration and efficiency.

You will work closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders, and play a valuable role as you contribute to develop the plan that underpins Nordea’s Business Technology Strategy as well as communicating the plan to relevant stakeholders

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop (innovate), mature, and maintain high level architecture roadmaps, designs as well as adoption roadmaps for following technical domains:
  • Cloud infrastructure (IAAS)
    • Hardware
    • Virtualization
    • Windows/Linux
    • Directory services
    • Automation
    • VDI
• Migrate and/or transition Cloud based systems into Nordea's IT environment
• Rearchitect IT systems where required to meet Nordea's IT standards
• Drive strategic discussions to deliver reduced architectural complexity, cost efficiencies, improved agility, reduced risk, and improved business capabilities
• Provide technological sparring for peers and leaders
• Create architectural and technical documentation for High-Level Design, Low-Level Design and Solution Design
• Implement Nordea's standard operating tools and configuration baselines
  • Maintain baseline documentation
  • Provide support for complex operational issues
• Bridge gaps between business units and service providers:
  • Be the translator between engineers and business stakeholders e.g. through hands-on sessions, and more formal presentations
  • Communicate the value proposition of solutions to a wide variety of stakeholders
• Ensure technology development supports Nordea’s Business Technology Strategy

Your experience and background:

• Demonstrated ability to architect modernised infrastructure technology solutions across multiple technical domains (technology, application, information and infrastructure) with an emphasis on midrange infrastructure, converged infrastructure, data centre networking, Cloud infrastructure and infrastructure virtualisation
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Services – Azure
• Experience with SAFe methodology and DevSecOps

Preferred experience:

• Working in a financial or otherwise regulated industry
• Cloud transformation projects, including development of project plans
