Intern continous improvement & project management

FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies

Intern for QA Drug Substance Continuous Improvement and project team

FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies is undergoing rapid development, our company is expanding at high speed, and this is just the beginning. It is therefore critical that we continuously work on optimizing our processes and make our workflows smarter to ensure we can keep up with this development. We are looking for people who share our passion, drive, and energy (Genki) to be part of our team in Quality Assurance Drug Substance (QA DS).

As part of the QA Intern unit, you will deal with precisely this. Your main purpose will be to help drive a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture in all areas of QA DS. We work with LEAN as an integral part of our everyday life and strive continuously to optimize QA DS processes end-to-end by reducing non-value-adding activities and encouraging innovative thinking.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities could include:

  • Optimize support and data processes.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops.
  • Assisting stakeholders in data visualization using Tableau
  • Develop trend analyses.
  • Collaborate with departments across the organization.
  • drive smaller projects independently.
  • Support and prepare KPI presentations.
  • Contribute to quality assistance activities in conjunction with CI Initiatives

Through the above tasks, you will contribute to the continued implementation of LEAN, Human Performance, and Shingo in QA DS. Moreover, you will do this as part of a fantastic team.

We value that you are committed and curious and will thus have the opportunity to shape your role as an engineering intern depending on your interests, skills, and level of ambition.

Our Expectations
It is expected that you are pursuing a relevant engineering degree and have achieved good results. Furthermore, you should be able to analyze various forms of data and draw concrete and relevant conclusions therefrom. Additionally, we emphasize that you demonstrate engagement, drive, and good communication skills. We are an international company, and it is therefore expected that you possess good written skills in English. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is also required.

It would be an advantage if you have knowledge of business intelligence (BI), e.g., Tableau and Alteryx.

As a person, you are engaged and thrive in a busy work environment, you are responsible, organized, and able to work independently. We do not expect you to know everything from the start, but we do expect you to be ready to learn and contribute with the knowledge you bring.

Your Application
If this job posting has caught your interest, please upload your CV and application as soon as possible, as we conduct interviews on an ongoing basis. Start date will be 1st March 2025, and lasts for 5-6 months.

Please note that it is a requirement that as a student, you receive ECTS points for a semester to be considered for the internship.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the team leader, Delphine Traisnel, at [email protected]
