What you’ll do
As a Founder’s Associate, you’ll work closely with our senior leadership team, supporting both financial operations and commercial activities to drive the development of our bio-based Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) projects. You will collaborate with the Chief of Staff on finance-related tasks and with the Commercial Lead on new site and project development initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to commercial workstreams, including market research, site selection, and supporting the business development of project proposals and business cases.
• Managing financing tools like Spendesk, ensuring smooth payment processing, expense tracking, and cash flow reconciliation
• Supporting external accountants with documentation for bookkeeping, reporting, and tax compliance.
• Assisting with FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis
• Taking ownership of diverse tasks, ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities.

Job requirements
About you:

• Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business or a similar field and looking for an internship.
• Basic knowledge of financial tools and processes (prior experience with Spendesk or similar tools is a big plus plus).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive and reliable, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English (German proficiency is a plus but not required).
