React Developer (Danmark)

REACT DEVELOPER

NaviPartner is a Danish IT company which offers vertical POS and e-commerce solutions for retail businesses, museums, and attractions for customers all over the world. We provide and host an omnichannel solution built on Microsoft Dynamics Business Central/BC365. With 150 employees located in 9 countries, we operate from our offices in Denmark, Mauritius, and Serbia and a number of employees working remotely.

Several of our solutions are developed in React such as:

• POS (Point of Sale) application (desktop and mobile)
• Self-service kiosk-based retail App
• Headless ticket solution
• Kitchen display system
• Shopify app

The position is available in any of our offices or remote.

WHAT WE OFFER
Within a team of 4 experienced and talented react professionals located in Denmark and Serbia, you will take responsibility of our solutions by

• Developing the next-generation user interfaces
• Creating new UI themes to match different market and industry requirements
• Connecting headless applications to APIs
• Identifying areas of improvement both visually and functionally
• Writing automated testing for frontend components

The react team members work on various projects within the 4 teams in the web development department, which is responsible for all web solutions including web technologies in NaviPartner. The broad variety of projects will give you the opportunity to become familiar with and work on projects that goes far beyond the classic React-frontend projects. As a member of the team you will take part in optimizing existing solutions and have a say in the development of future products.

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript and solid understanding of React
• 1+ years of professional experience; however, it’s more important to assess what you know and what you can do
• Ability to quickly learn and use new tools and technologies
• Ability to work successfully both autonomously and as part of a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Curiosity to learn and get out of your comfort zone

NICE TO HAVE

• Relevant academic software engineering degree(s) and/or certification(s)
• Familiarity with Git and Github
• Experience with TypeScript & backend relational databases
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Experience with web platforms like Cloudflare Workers/Pages or Shopify

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
The recruitment process will include the following steps:

• Meet the Chief Human Resource Officer to align on objectives and expectations
• Meet a React Developer for a talk to assess the technical fit
• Work on an inhouse testcase to evaluate your technical skills
