Your Mission…
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. This role covers tax activities across Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway, offering a challenging opportunity to engage with diverse tax and accounting landscapes. You will manage accounting and tax activities, ensuring compliance with regulations across these four markets. Being the expert, you will be a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on accounting and tax matters across the Nordic region. The role reports to the Nordic Head of Accounting & Treasury.
You Will...
Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare financial and tax statements, ensuring compliance with Group deadlines and legal requirements.
Tax Management: Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including VAT and corporate income tax.
Transfer Pricing: Assist with transfer pricing documentation and calculations.
Pillar 2 Reporting: Serve as the local expert for Pillar 2 reporting.
Accounting Principles and Procedures: Ensure adherence to Group accounting procedures and principles.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on accounting and tax matters.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the tax function.
Research and Analysis: Stay updated on tax regulations and analyze their impact on the organization.
We are looking for…
Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or Tax.
Experience: 6+ years as a Tax Accountant with a strong understanding of tax principles. International tax experience is a plus.
Audit Experience: Experience in an external audit firm is highly desirable.
Systems Proficiency: Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel skills.
Language Skills: Excellent English communication skills. Nordic language skills are a plus.
Personal Attributes: Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical with strong problem-solving skills. Proactive and able to work independently and within a team. Interest in a dynamic, international environment.
