The Position
In most of our clinical trials we use a RTSM (Randomization and Trial Supplies Management) or IWRS (Interactive Web Response System) IT system to handle allocation of treatments to patients, manage shipments to clinical sites worldwide and ensure that we get the right data from our trials. The RTSMs are set-up for each trial, and right now we operate RTSM/IWRS for around 80 trials.

As our new RTSM Coordinator, you will be responsible for the daily support of each of these individually build trials in the RTSM/IWRS, e.g.:

• Supporting in case of escalated cases with our vendor
• Implementing, testing and documenting updates to ongoing trials based on e.g. protocol updates
• Providing expert training and guidance to end-users, ensuring they can navigate and leverage the RTSM/IWRS systems effectively and efficiently
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues, troubleshoot system challenges, and drive the continual evolution of our processes.

Qualifications
We would like to see these qualifications in the ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree within engineering, pharmaceutical science, business development or similar
• Extensive experience working with IRT/RTSM systems, ideally in a sponsor setting
• A strong background in the pharmaceutical industry with a deep understanding of GCP/GMP regulatory frameworks.
• Fluency in English
• MS Office skills

We are looking for someone who can plan and approach tasks in a structured way and seek simple solutions and see continuous improvement as a natural part of processes. As a person, you are detail oriented and at the same time able to see the big picture. Your experience in RTSM/IWRS will be leveraged to elevate team performance and enhance overall operational effectiveness.

You understand that most of the time is spent giving support and troubleshooting issues on your trials and find great joy in solving these tasks. It is crucial to be a team player and find motivation when reaching common goals. You like juggling with several issues at a time and enjoy solving these in close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.

About the department
The position is in “RTSM Maintenance”; a team of 10 dedicated colleagues responsible for maintaining RTSM systems (not build) for all trials in Novo Nordisk.

As part of Novo Nordisk’s PS family, CMC Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture, and distribute drug candidates for all Novo Nordisk non-clinical and clinical trials.
Supply Chain Planning is a part of Clinical Supplies in CMC Development & Scaling. We are responsible for the overall planning of the production, packaging, and distribution of products for Novo Nordisk clinical trials worldwide. The department consist of five teams, supporting the execution of clinical trials by forecasting/monitoring product demand, ordering products/materials, planning the packaging/shipping of trial products and supporting the overall trial conduct at the clinical sites with a focus on trial product related processes and systems.
