Job Description
We are seeking to expand our Structured Equity Derivatives Trading team with an additional trader. The desk is part of the Equity Trading division within Securities at Danske Bank Markets. Our team operates as a Nordic entity based in Copenhagen and Stockholm, offering risk pricing and liquidity across a range of products to clients in the Nordic region and continental Europe.
You will play a key role in launching Danske Bank's new Structured Products distribution initiative, working closely with our Investment Solutions Sales team.
Location
The position is based in Copenhagen, with occasional travel to collaborate with our sales and trading colleagues in Stockholm and Helsinki.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include managing the execution and secondary markets in conjunction with our Structured Products issuance. This pivotal role serves as a vital link between trading, sales, internal stakeholders, clients and external counterparties. You'll be responsible for the execution process and play a central role in Structured Products and Investment Solutions business. You will have a high degree of participation in structuring and idea generation for clients.

Your Background
You should have a solid quantitative and financial understanding, enabling you to work with various investment products and derivatives. Prior experience in a trading or sales role, or another Markets products area, is advantageous. Familiarity with structured products or equity derivatives is beneficial but not essential. You should be methodical and eager to learn new concepts, from financial theory to regulatory changes.
Educational Background
A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or IT is required. Experience with Python, VBA, and similar languages.
