Location: The candidate can be based in one of our international offices in North Shields/Bromley (UK), Fredericia (Denmark), Szczecin/Gdańsk (Poland), Porto (Portugal).

About the Role:
We are seeking a driven Junior Commercial Manager to support our existing commercial team in the Blades Business Unit to support driving revenue growth through market analysis, client relationship management, and strategic pricing. This role focuses on expanding sales within existing accounts while securing new business opportunities.

You will assist in managing both smaller “land and expand” deals and larger, strategic contracts, showcasing MWS’s value to prospects and customers. Additionally, you will contribute to contract negotiations, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful project execution. Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Responsibility:

  • Define and execute territory and account sales plans for assigned Business Units to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including demand generation, prospecting, qualification, opportunity management, and closing, within assigned Business Units and territories, in agreement with the Sales Director/CSO.
  • For complex sales, coordinate MWS resources throughout the sales cycle, such as project support, QHSE, Legal, and Operations.
  • Prepare pre-calculations and project forecasts in cooperation with Operations.
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies for selected markets or Business Units.
  • Stay informed about competitors, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Participate in team building and company growth activities, including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts, and customer relationship management.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Commercial Director on customer strategies and account management.
  • Proactively work to expand our services within strategic accounts and markets.

Sales and Account Management:

  • Develop and nurture long-term business relationships with key stakeholders and influencers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and brand advocate for MWS.
  • Navigate procurement processes and buying cycles, identifying key decision-makers and influencers to close deals efficiently.
  • Organize and facilitate internal and external clarification meetings.
  • Lead customer meetings and deliver company presentations.
  • Assist in and negotiate price agreements in cooperation with Operations.
  • Manage, monitor, and support negotiations for frame agreements and tender-specific contracts.
  • Oversee the successful completion and submission of proposals and tender materials.
  • Develop financial business cases and manage tender quality processes.
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue, ensuring an updated and reliable sales pipeline.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong B2B sales and account management expertise with a proven track record in managing complex deals and sales cycles.
  • In-depth knowledge of the tender process, including purchasing components and selection criteria.
  • Ability to build credibility with key decision-makers throughout the purchasing process.
  • Results-driven mindset with a history of consistently exceeding sales goals.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to going the extra mile.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creativity, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support sales efforts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Passion for the wind energy sector and a strong interest in renewable solutions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
