Too Good To Go

Key Account Store Operations Specialist
København, Hovedstaden, Denmark

ApplyAt Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste. Why do we need to do that? Because more than 1/3 of the food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste!

As the world’s largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it. But we’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation and our mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste, so we’re doing all we can to create educational tools, make our knowledge as accessible as possible, find new business solutions and even change legislation to reduce food waste.

That means we’re looking for talented people with diverse skills and backgrounds to add to our growing team. That is where you come in: we’re looking for a Key Account Store Operations Specialist to join us in our Copenhagen office.

Your mission:
Our Store Operations team holds responsibility for the engagement, experience and quality of our Key Account stores. As a Key Account Store Operations Specialist within the Key Account team you will work directly with these stores, building relationships with store managers and their staff, helping them to maximise the partnership with Too Good To Go and rescue as much food from going to waste as possible.

You will be playing a significant role in our growth and evolution in providing better than ever support and service to our food waste-fighting partners.

Your Role:
Reporting into a Key Account Manager you will be working with a portfolio of our most prominent brands within your business segment.

This is an entry-level role and you will work in a hands-on, front-line capacity, ensuring our key partner stores have everything they need to succeed. You will engage the stores directly via phone and email to optimise store engagement, improve performance, and increase supply.

  • Support stores to use Too Good To Go and our systems, providing training to new managers and staff
  • Engage store managers and staff on fighting food waste
  • Ensure your stores are maximising their supply so no food is being wasted
  • Identify feedback trends from conversations with stores and escalate to the Key Account Manager
  • Ensure stores have a good experience with our customers and take action to improve store quality
  • Administrative tasks, including mass updates for public holidays, and ensuring store information is up to date and accurate
  • Key Account Store Operational Specialists work in squads as #oneteam and come together to achieve large projects, such as the roll out of new key accounts, and onboarding & training new stores.

What we need:
As this role is entry-level we are not looking for any specific experience, however we are keen for you to demonstrate why you are well-suited to this role - whether that’s from your studies, volunteering work, your personal life or any professional experience. This is what we’re looking for:

  • Care for our mission: you are passionate about fighting food waste and the contribution it makes to the climate crisis
  • Terrific talker (and listener) with the ability to effectively and quickly connect with partners over the phone, and achieve your desired outcomes from the call
  • Excellent written communication skills; someone who can be clear and friendly in a text conversation or email exchange with partners
  • First experience with data is preferred
  • A positive and proactive mindset, ready to adapt to the needs of a fast-growing organization
  • A team-player who is keen to learn, collaborate, and contribute
  • An empathetic and patient approach
  • Comfortable in handling repetitive tasks, knowing each task contributes to saving food from going to waste
  • Fluency in Danish (C1) and English (B2) are mandatory for this role.
  • Driver’s License B for Store visits (1-2 times/month)

Our Values:

  • We Win Together
  • We Raise the Bar
  • We Keep It Simple
  • We Build A Legacy
  • We Care

  • Personal and professional development opportunities in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
