🚛 Our client is a fast-growing staffing and recruitment agency specialized in connecting skilled EU workers—such as truck drivers, mechanics, and forklift operators—with leading logistics, transport, and automotive companies in the Netherlands. In addition to recruitment, the company provides comprehensive support to ensure employees have a smooth transition and a comfortable stay while working abroad.

About the Role
We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented Back-office Assistant with a background in finance or law to support the company’s operational and HR administration. The role is focused on accurate documentation, payroll preparation, and compliance with procedures, ensuring smooth back-office processes in a dynamic, international environment.

This is a role for someone who enjoys working with rules, following processes, and maintaining precision in all tasks.

Main Responsibilities

  • Verify weekly work hours and collect necessary data for payroll processing.
  • Prepare and review employment contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Maintain and update employee records in digital filing systems and HR databases.
  • Enter and update employee data in payroll and HR systems (e.g., onboarding, salary adjustments, terminations, time tracking).
  • Ensure all employee documentation is complete, accurate, and properly organized.
  • Support financial and HR process optimization by identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Perform operational tasks in Finance Platforms, Example: HelloFlex

What We Are Looking For

  • Background in finance or accounting (education or professional experience).
  • Experience in administration, payroll, accounting or HR back-office functions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort working with digital tools such as HelloFlex, Google Drive, or other HR/administration platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to follow procedures precisely, and to perform repetitive tasks on a weekly basis with ease.
  • Proactive approach to improving workflows while ensuring compliance.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
