To strengthen our Central European BtB organization, we are looking for a Sales Manager with a strong commercial mindset to join our developing internal sales structure at our Copenhagen headquarters, with a dedicated focus on the German market.
About the role
In this newly established position, you will play a key commercial role in developing our BtB activities for the German market – entirely from our Copenhagen HQ and without travel requirements.
Your work will center around commercial engagement, digital customer interaction and developing opportunities within our core professional segments.
You will manage the early commercial dialogue with customers, work with incoming leads, further qualify opportunities, and build long-term account relationships through virtual meetings and structured follow-up.
This role forms a central part of our sales growth in Central Europe and reports directly to the Head of BtB – Central Europe.
Your responsibilities:
Commercial focus (no travel required)
- Work with incoming leads and develop them into concrete commercial opportunities
- Manage early-stage account development and build strong, long-term customer relationships
- Conduct virtual customer meetings, presentations and webinars (MS Teams)
- Build and maintain a structured pipeline aligned with commercial KPIs and business targets
- Drive sales activities within our core professional segments
Daily sales operations
- Handle customer inquiries and provide professional commercial guidance
- Prepare quotations and tender documents, including commercial calculations
- Maintain accurate CRM data (Salesforce) and support transparent forecasting
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across sales, marketing, project teams and supply chain
- Analyze market and sales data and translate insights into actionable commercial initiatives
About you
We are looking for a communicative and commercially driven professional who enjoys digital customer interaction, structured sales processes and remote account development. Experience within lighting, electrical or design-related industries is an advantage.
You enjoy working independently, building customer relationships remotely and driving sales initiatives from the inside.
You bring a mix of these qualities and skills
- Proactive commercial mindset and confidence in working with leads
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus
- Experience in BtB sales, ideally in an international environment
- Confident in hosting online customer sessions and presentations
- Technical affinity or design-related interest in lighting
- Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce); SAP is a plus
- Fluent in German, English and Danish
- Strong planning, analytical and organizational capabilities
