Job Description
The LEGO Group is looking for a confident and analytical potential talent as Sourcing Specialist to join their Global IT Procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for a young potential talent to kick-start a successful career in Procurement.

The overall expectation of a Sourcing Specialist is to support the end to end procurement processes including early engagement on business request analysis; Pricing/Terms Negotiation; Supplier Selection; Order Processing; Contracting; Supplier Relationship Management. The Sourcing Specialist acts as the Supplier Manager for existing suppliers and define standards for supplier sourcing & seek feedback on the delivered work and show curiosity to learn and develop.

Indirect Materials and Services Sourcing is a global organization focused on driving excellence in sourcing, be strong business partners with the internal stakeholders and drive supplier relationship management. The organization is responsible for IT, Facility, Distribution and Professional Services categories globally. As the LEGO group expands globally, the investment in IT is growing as well and the procurement team needs additional resources to manage the growing demand.

Core Responsibilities

  • Help run sourcing activity for Cloud, Software, hardware technologies across all business areas
  • Support commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers
  • Work with legal to understand contractual risks and increase knowledge of IT contracts
  • Support conversations among stakeholders and build stakeholder relationships
  • Support the building of market insight to identify trends in technology and translate them into category strategies

Do you have what it takes?

  • Min Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply chain, Legal or Finance
  • Nice to have is 1-3 year experience of procurement
  • A dynamic graduate with excellent rapport and relationship-building skills
  • Business-oriented and a quick learner
